2018 marks the 25th anniversary of Fund Intelligence’s prestigious Mutual Fund Industry Awards. For the last quarter century, the Awards have served as the highest honor fund management professionals and firms can achieve for their performance and contributions to the industry. ENTRY RULES

The 2018 Mutual Fund Industry Awards are designed for investment management firms and ETF providers, along with their boards of directors and legal counsel.

To enter, please read the judging criteria carefully and complete the entry form for yourself, your firm, or on behalf of a colleague or client. Entries should clearly demonstrate how the nominee has met the relevant category criteria.

The judging process is based on a mix of qualitative and quantitative performance indicators. Certain categories will be judged by an independent panel made up of industry professionals.

The judging period for this year is January 1, 2017 – December 31, 2017.

How to enter

It is simple to make your submission for the 2018 awards, and remember it is FREE to enter the awards.

Register as an Entrant here. You will then be logged into your Entrant Dashboard. Click on the 'Create Entry' button to start your submission. Complete the submission form. You can return to edit the form as often as you wish before the entry deadline. To enter multiple categories, you can clone your original entry and edit as you wish.To submit your entry, return to your dashboard and check the box next to your entry(ies) and click the 'Submit' button. Once submitted, you cannot edit your entry(ies). All entries must be submitted by the extended deadline of Friday, February 16, 2018. Please remember, you must submit your entry via the dashboard in order to put your entry forward for the awards. Otherwise it will remain as a draft and will not be put forward for consideration by the judges.

JUDGING

The winners are comprised of the individuals and firms who have been nominated via the online submission process and through recommendations from market participants.

Judges will use the submitted application material, as well as any uploaded supplemental information, to make a determination on the firm, individual or product they believe to be the most suitable and deserving winners for each category.

Judges have the discretionary power to move nominations into alternative categories that they think may be more suitable.

Judges' Choice categories

The Judges’ Choice Awards are adjudicated by a panel of industry experts convened by the Fund Action and Fund Directions editorial teams. The industry judges contribute their sector expertise to debate the merits of shortlist candidates to come to a decision on the winners.

Legacy categories

A panel of representatives across Fund Intelligence will judge the remaining categories. Decisions will be based on a number of metrics, including the judging criteria that can be found here.
